Two hearts, one vision

Melanie

I have been a Social Educational Assistant for over ten years, developing my experience with the elderly, people with disabilities, children with specific needs, in nurseries, after-school care (UAPE), and above all in infant nurseries. That is where my heart beat the strongest. There I discovered my true passion: supporting toddlers and backing parents. My career path has led me to place family support at the heart of my practice: listening, kindness, tailored advice, and parental support.

My two children hold a central place in my life and inspire my vision of family well-being every day. My interest in baby hydrotherapy was born from my own family experience. Convinced of its positive effects on the well-being, development and soothing of little ones, I wanted to promote this practice within a secure professional setting.

My name is Paula Lourenço. I am a socio-educational assistant and I have been working at the Fleurs des Champs nursery in Crans-Montana since 2013. For more than ten years, I have been supporting toddlers in their discoveries, their emotions and their little everyday steps. I place great importance on respecting each child's pace, attentive listening and the creation of a trusting bond, which is essential for them to feel secure.

I am also a mother to two little girls. Motherhood has profoundly enriched my perspective on childhood. It has given me an even greater desire to offer babies and their parents moments of gentleness, calm and true presence. Those simple moments where we slow down, where we observe, where we truly find ourselves together. My wish is very simple: that every family leaves with a light heart, with tender memories... and a peaceful baby.
